Golden is designed to keep your pet’s information private. You do not create an account, and Golden does not operate a server that receives your pet’s health records.
Information you add
You may add pet profiles, photos, medications, dose history, weight entries, diary observations, quality-of-life check-ins, veterinary questions, and notes. This information is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple platform storage.
How information leaves the app
Information leaves Golden only when you choose an action such as sharing a Vet Visit Pack PDF, exporting your data, or using an Apple system service. The recipient and destination are under your control.
Purchases and notifications
Apple processes subscriptions and provides Golden with entitlement status; Golden does not receive your payment-card details. Medication reminders use Apple’s notification system and are scheduled on your device.
Tracking and advertising
Golden does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, analytics SDKs, or data brokers. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Your entries remain until you edit or delete them, remove the app and its data, or manage them through Apple’s device tools. You can create a complete data export from Golden’s Settings screen.
Children
Golden is intended for adult pet caregivers and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
